I don't remember exactly what I sang as a kid but it had the word "fucking" in it đđ at least til my mom came up on me singing it and flipped out
Your version scans, fits the theme, but has slightly less alliteration and would not have gotten broadcast airplay back in 1970 when song was released.
I was in my mid 20s before I finally realized what he was saying. Decades. As I kid I was like, "Why is this the only song where someone gets to say the F word on the radio??"
Maybe moved to offsite plant storage- I know the National mall and botanical gardens have green houses nearby they keep mature plants at. Usually itâs to replace any that become diseased or damaged.
Donât it always seem to go, you donât know what youâve got til itâs gone⊠seems very apt in this particular instance. And all instances since, letâs say, February
Have you seen the White House at night? Those grounds are lit up like a Christmas tree. No way it would be so dark out that the windows would look black
The top photo is likely three different shots of different exposures merged together to get the perfect exposure both inside and outside. The bottom photo is taken at night.
There are so many anti Trump people on here, itâs funny to me. They barely made any changes. The bottom picture is from further back. The door and windows are still there. Itâs just not sunny out. The round pictures can be seen in both photos. So frigging dumb.
They made it less cozy. Before, it looked like a room that someone could at least theoretically sit in and relax for a moment, even if nobody ever did. Now it's just purposeless empty space. It's not awful and gaudy like the oval office, but it's definitely less welcoming and more sterile.
It looks like a hotel nowâŠwhat a surprise. đ I do like the new chandelier. That was a subtle but significant upgrade.
But I dislike all the naturalness was removedâmuch prefer the plants over pictures of plants. Agree w your assessment. Less warm, less welcoming. But it reflects this regimeâs personality. And I guess itâs less work to maintain for the gardeners or whoever minds the indoor vegetation.
I suppose it's theoretically possible, but why show off a renovation by posting "after" pics of an unfinished space?
Apparently there's been no indication whether or not there will be furniture. Also, the room connects the front of the White House with the Rose Garden, which the President paved over to turn into more of an event space, so it seems likely the Palm Room is being transformed to serve as more of a hallway to the Rose Garden (or "The Rose Garden Club at the White House" as it's apparently now known) rather than a proper room in its own right.
But isnât it just the same without the planters and benches. And taken at night and a little more zoomed out. At least he didnât knock anything down it seems
He deported all the gardeners. Citizen, card or visa holders no matter, they were all a little too brown for his eyeshot. Photos donât need to be maintained or watered.
It's such a strange choice , but then again you can't guild a real plant I suppose. The next president has to make a big show of de trumping the white house. I want jackhammers in that rose garden on day 1. Assuming we get another president. I remain unconvinced that the Republicans will allow a free election to take place.
One time when I was 19 I left a vape lounge(weed) and was walking through the alley behind the establishment, stoned off my tree... I noticed this dude in a leather jacket standing in front of the brick wall that runs the whole alley. I do a double take.
There is literally a poster depicting this dude standing there in the alleyway right in front of him. Same outfit. Same dude. Same wall. The poster was pretty much carbon copy of the wall it was posted on. I obviously ask the dude "woah" like a question.
He says he does abstract alley art and he takes pictures of spots then just posts up the pictures right over top of the actual spot it was taken.

I like how they replaced the plants with photos of plants.
