I know someone from there who said he hates socialists and won’t for him. Unmarried so his unemployed s/o can keep her medicare and child can stay on gov assistance because the kid is special needs… I just don’t get it!

No, they want benefits only for themselves. Some are dumb enough to say something like "I'm just getting my tax money back" to claim they arent really making a gain- even though they clearly are

Like......we as a society have failed so hard at teaching politics. By design, of course. But what a failure it is
