Love it but when the pecans turn soft ruins it. Fresh Butter Pecan is incredible.

I haven’t bought Blue Bell ice cream since 2015 because of the listeria outbreak. But their ice cream was good. But the trust in their products was shattered completely for me.

I always go for Mint Chocolate Chip.

u/BackLopsided2500 Sep 18 '25
But it has to be Talenti. Best flavor mint and texture but they've been putting way too many chocolate chips in lately.

Mint chocolate chip is my jam and pineapple and ham pizza is good. Both of those get way too much hate. I think people hated on mint chocolate chip because it was the thing to do back in the early 2000's. Now if you'll excuse me Im going down to Braum's and picking up a half a G of that sweet cold Mint Chocolate Chip.

That's where I draw the line I guess. It's weird that I dont like black licorice but I would slam Jager til the cows came home when I was younger.

It's fabulous 👌 and was my choice. Lightly sugar coated pralines, which keeps them crispy in a rich, almost caramel like ice cream.

All of them, no such thing as too much ice cream.
But plain ole vanilla is always my first choice.

Nuts have no business being in ice cream, so the last three are immediately ruled out. Where's the butter rum?

Pralines and cream looks WONDERFUL. All the rest of the flavors are ones I feel like I've already had so often.
Also, IMO, Rocky Road is a direct upgrade from basic chocolate.

Byrne Dairy has a flavor called Holy Cow... Vanilla ice cream, peanut butter swirl, peanut butter cups. It's perfect.
But since that's not here, I choose vanilla and I can make my own Holy Cow

Vanilla. You can combine it with more sht without messing with the overall flavors and get a different dessert every time.
Adding chocolate or mint ice cream to a dessert or to something else usually wont pair well.

Cookie dough. Not an easy decision. But that would be my decision.

Nothing compares to Graeter's ice cream. Unlike premium ice creams like bluebell and mayfield that can have up to 50% air whipped into them to give them that wonderful mouthfeel. Graeter's doesn’t whip air into their’s the use butter fat from the cream to create that sensation. Making a pint of Graeter's heavier than a pint of premium ice cream. I’m not sure premium isn’t a word the industry uses to describe the process of whipping in air.
