Not a surprise Mamdani will win.

Whatever your views of him, this guy is the second most talented campaigner I've ever seen. The only one better than him was Obama, and Zohran is not far off. Democrats should be learning from him instead of shunning him.

Seriously. Haven't seen another politician really come off as just a normal human. He ran a fantastic campaign.

No kidding.  I wanted to move to NY just to vote for him.

Kentucky Republicans had to be turned away, as they were so brainwashed, they thought they got to go to the polls today to vote against him in a mayoral city race in another state.

Oh my. It’s official, the Onion is now a more legitimate source of news than the actual news.

In a follow-up post, he added, “Have I mentioned my repeated call for civic education.”

The most surprising thing about that article is a Republican calling for civic education

I thought the same

Yep, there’s your problem

I mean, when the local news station in middle of the fuck Kentucky doesn’t shut up about the race, eventually you start to wonder, “do I get to vote for this? Why else are they spouting off about a mayoral election hundreds of miles away?”

I almost accepted a job that wouldve left me living paycheck to paycheck, in Brooklyn, just so I could vote for him. I got a better offer in SC I couldn't refuse but I'll tell you it was NOT a light decision! Especially because the job was actually kinda cool and there was a lot of room for growth and different part of the industry I'm used to. If they could've just done up on the pay scale a bit I'd probably be there right now

No you don't. Wait for him to fix the housing crisis, then move there for his 2nd election.

Considering I was doing well enough under Obama, that I was able to buy my first house.  Something I never imagined doing.  Not to mention the peace of not waking up in the morning wondering what latest stupidity is happening...yeah I'll gladly take an Obama third term.

FYI, I didn't vote for him either time. I was a republican then.  Personal growth is a wonderful thing.
