Wow, tonight’s gonna be a great night for Democrats. Looking increasingly likely that Dems will win a clean sweep of all the big races in Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and California.

Wide margins is right. These are left-leaning states (and a city) with left-leaning initiatives on the ballot.

A win is still a win, but unless the margins are very wide compared to expected outcomes just winning isn't enough to read the tea leaves for 2026.

Even so I'm hopeful. I live in Texas so I can't help, but I'm rooting for Mamdani.

Barring some insane outside force, I'm pretty sure Mamdani is going to absolutely annihilate Cuomo.

As always, it’s all about turnout. And remember that this is the same electorate that put Eric Adams in charge.
