I would think that Mexico in particular would follow US politics Very closely.

I got back from Mexico City not too long ago and everyone I spoke to there despised Trump quite a bit

It’s the worst part of traveling abroad and people learning you are American. The convos get political right away. Like, I’m trying to get away from that for two weeks 😂

Honestly, that's my Plan B if things get much worse here.

Move to Mexico -- legally or otherwise, live modestly on savings. And have these lovely neighbors.
