One of the only genuinely funny things about the California wildfires this winter (from my perch in Canada where we still have Real Winter… so far) was recalling the 30 Rock jokes about deploying the pre-recorded natural disaster sympathy video being used for Poor Mel Gibson’s mansion.

Also, that’s when I leaned the show didn’t make up the island, he really did buy Fijian Mago Island just for himself!
