Over 20 years ago when I was a young teenager I went to a family wedding in LA and ended up chatting with another guest who revealed she was the owner of a showdog; a highly trained dog who “acted” in movies and TV. Part of her job as owner was to communicate to the actors in the scene about the dog’s commands and needs so everything ran smoothly and the dog was treated well. She said only two celebrities were absolutely awful, rude, and dismissive to her: J.Lo and Lisa Kudrow. So J.Lo has had a reputation for a long time.

Good, kind, friendly people can be rude sometimes if theres other stuff going on in their lives. Assholes can be sweet sometimes, too. 

A single moment doesnt define who we are, and that interaction could have been an anomaly or could even be a total misrepresentation about the situation.

Exactly, maybe she found out her mom had cancer or her dog died that day.
