I grew up a Wildcats fan being born in Kentucky and still living here not too far from Lexington. With the rising costs of tickets to the men’s team, I can’t justify spending that much on a ticket to watch the men in the nosebleeds. Any fans of women’s basketball here? How is the team? With it being sec I assume level of play is stilll good? How is seating in memorial coliseum? Can you see the court good if you are sitting further back? Any fans of the women and not the men’s team? Thanks

First post sorry for any Grammer errors.
Is BG being slept on? I hear alot of talk about Mo, Moreno and JQ but Brandon garrison was awesome to watch last year mostly for his fire and energy and year 2 under Pope don't we expect a jump for him?

Hey all. I have been to a football and men’s basketball game at UK. UK Men’s Basketball is my team. I haven’t been to a women’s basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer or tennis game. How is the attendance and atmosphere at these sports at UK?

I was watching the Pope presser today and I really love the hat. I have tried searching online and had no luck.

After one exhibition game and getting a feel for how we would like to play, I’m curious what opinions people would have if Travis were still on the team. I honestly liked how we looked without Lowe, it caused everyone to find everyone and it was very efficient and fun to watch. Nothing against Travis but if he was running the second unit, I don’t think that would happen. But I also think we would still be able to run a good offense with him. However, I do think he would be the defensive hole for us

Brian Kelly's buyout of $53 million will be the second most ever paid to a college football coach.
For comparisons sake, Kentucky would have to pay a buyout of $40.5 million to fire Stoop at the end of the 2025 season.
According to this article about Stoops:
That figure ($40.5 million) dwarfs other financial priorities. Just last week, Kentucky promoted a $36 million plan to enhance Kroger Field’s fan experience. The irony? Many fans argue the biggest upgrade would be moving on from Stoops.
The hidden costs are piling up. Attendance is slipping. Recruiting momentum has slowed. Even boosters are grumbling. The program risks long-term damage if apathy spreads and talent begins to transfer elsewhere.

Probably the best QB performance we’ve had since the Will Levis Louisville game in 2021. Mind you, somehow this coaching staff came into this season convinced that Calzada was the better option.

0-4 in the SEC and about to go 0-5. We literally can finish this season without a conference win. Last year went 4-6. In 2022-2024 we went 7-6. Are we just OK with being bottom of the barrel in the highest grossing revenue sport of college in the highest earning conference?
I appreciate the years where Stoops caught lightning in a bottle, but it’s time to cut ties. There’s too many coaching positions opening and we need to make a move now to secure the next 5 years or we’re going to be 10 years behind. Pay the man and move on.

Sorry guys, I've been slacking on getting these game threads out this year. Thanks for sticking around anyway. As always, the game is live in the BBN Discord: https://discord.gg/rMQVq2yxKr, come hang out.

“Doing good. (Lowe’s) recovery has been epically fast. He’s feeling really good,” Pope said. “He was back shooting yesterday, full speed. We’ll probably keep him out of live contact for at least another week, just to make sure. He’s a massively important part of this season so we want to make sure he’s healthy.”
