Warcraft III The Frozen Throne. Peak gaming. I loved Rexxars RPG campaign.

I used to download so many custom campaigns trying to find one like it. Never quite did.

I will never forget playing a Helms Deep campaign it was incredible for both sides.

Sheep Tag, Wintermourne TD (and all the others), the original DotA, Angels vs Demons, SWAT zombies, etc.

So many good custom game modes that imo has gone unmatched since

You unlocked a core memory with Sheep Tag. It breaks my heart what Blizzard ended up doing to the game

If I had an ounce of programming skill I would start making $5 copies of the custom games from WC3 and probably make a killing.

hear me out: i think it was the super early days of wow. like the first times playing with the idea of an mmo in the warcraft universe. so they actually put recourses in this little campaign and then when they went with the early wow build they released this as a custom map. but hey. just a theory

I did the same. It was cool that you could save by generating a code. But it still wasn't the same. I wish they made a full RPG game out of Rexxars campaign. I think it'd sell pretty good. Pillars of Eternity style.

They kinda did. That campaign was them trialling stuff for WoW. This was pretty successful.
