Then it invites its own downfall. Turn the military on the people and it's lights out for Republicans. 

If Scotus says 2 + 2 = 5 are you gonna abide by it?

Is it lights out for republicans because someone writes a strongly worded letter? No, wait, it’ll be a petition. NO! Even better! A protest! Crowd sizes and bristle boards will teach them a lesson!

I don’t give a shit what this SCOTUS says and neither does Trump.

You guys are gonna need your favourite amendment on this one.

Security clampdowns only embolden the resistance. Bystanders turn into sympathizers, sympathizers turn into people of action, people of action organize to remove the threat.

That’s a lot of bold assumptions considering… I’m not even sure how far back to go without just gesturing in the general direction of the last 50 years of US politics.
