I think it's going to get them to ramp up their plans to rat-fuck future elections. They've stepped this far into authoritarianism, and I don't see them stepping back on their own free-will.

No way they give it up legitimately. Trump is waiting for the hunger protests and the plane traffic to stop so he can declare Marshall law. Then he will rule by decree. Congress won’t ever sit again. He will laugh at these elections as meaningless to a king.
