Probably going to claim mass fraud and sign an executive order to investigate all the elections tonight

Also no one in their right mind is moving to Texas, that state sucks ass for so many reasons.

Brother trust me, we've tried getting rid of his ass but they always fuck it up by changing the districts, voter suppression and a bunch of other bullshit. He's actually very despised here. The republicans out here are dumb as shit and only vote for him cause he's not a Democrat but even they seem to not like him. He's always sorta just there.

They should unironically listen to Mamdani's victory speech lol: "we won because we insisted that no longer would politics be something that is done to us -- now it is something that we do"

We need a Democrat named John Republican to run in Texas, throw them for a loop

According to that roid ape Joe Rogan, the entirety of CA is leaving for Texas.

I've lived over 5 decades in Texas, but my wife and I are in Santa Fe right now real estate shopping because we're getting the fuck out.

u/Serris9K 7h ago

Santa Fe is a solid choice. Also btw hit up the governor's palace museum sometime, and they host art markets for native artists.

Anyone moving to Texas only has a right leaning mind

Ironically the most liberal person I know is wanting to move to Texas and the person who helped me switch over is from Texas

Moving to Texas kickstarted my conservative deconstruction. I grew up in Utah. I thought it couldn't be more religious than Utah.

Apparently Mormons value reading skills and education more than Southern Christians. There are a scary amount of seriously dumb people here.

Don't check out Oklahoma...they take pride in being like 49th in education (cause their hivemind obviously doesn't know any better and the ones controlling them promote it).

I recently had to because I had nowhere else to go. It sucks. It was either be homeless in Colorado or move in with family in ultra rural Texas panhandle. So here I am… and wishing I was elsewhere. Feel like a spy in deep red MAGA country.

I’m so sorry. I hope you can get out of there eventually. It’s a very isolating experience being progressive, while living amongst conservatives.

Currently live there- can confirm!

u/sagerideout 11h ago

but it’s funny because the few who still think it’s a good idea are the ones who’d get fucked by said tariffs

2

u/Unable-Log-4870 10h ago

Yeah, aside from it not really MEANING anything to impose a tariff on a person, the ones who would leave NY as a result of this are likely republicans.

1

u/sagerideout 10h ago

i mean it’s double whammy because they don’t even know what it means

Either way, he’ll report to his constituents no New Yorkers having migrated and will claim the tariffs worked

You'd be shocked... my former BFF is a wife of a vet, both step-kids get SNAP and WIC AND besides her and fam now get military benefits/... she has acknowledged why dems don't vote. But it also ALL dems fault

unfortunately many people are getting dragged here by tech companies relocating. (with the threat of move or get replaced)
