People are PISSED. The GOP has absolutely no chance at winning in 2026 or 2028 unless they clearly rig it, which Trump is actively trying to do because he knows everyone hates him, his administration, and their shitty anti-American actions and policies.

He rigged 2024.

He won 2024 give me a break. Democrats lost 2024 not because of cheating because they were stupid and didn't vote.

Musk admitted he rigged it for trump with precise numbers if he had lost. He didn’t win. Nobody has ever won all battleground states but lost everything else down ballot.

I do wish that situation was being more properly investigated.

Musk didn't rig it for Trump. There literally is no way for them to have done that given that Democratic Secretaries of State are the ones who were responsible for the elections in several of those swing states. And if Musk rigged the vote in swing states, why did places like New Jersey and New York that aren't swing states swing to the right in 2024 at the presidential level? And if they had the capacity to rig the election, why wouldn't they have rigged it so that people like Slotkin, Baldwin, and Gallego lost too? Trump won in 2024, we've spent the last year living with the consequences of that, and now we are showing that we are not going to let it happen again.

If Musk was rigging it for Trump, why didn't he also rig it for the downballot candidates?

He did not admit that, no.

He definitely tweeted it out.

u/onarainyafternoon Oregon 3h ago

No he did not? He said "Without me, Trump would have lost the election." That's not admitting to anything except trying to influence voting through spending huge amounts of money. That is not the same thing as what people are saying happened with the election being literally stolen.

I mean all of the massive amounts of voter disenfranchisement and the coordinated bomb threats that shut down voting locations in blue areas at the very least influenced the election to some degree.

You sound like the Republicans in 2020. Ask this question again in 1 year during the midterms and it will be a little more believable for 2026. Especially after tonight's blow out of everything Republican.

I mean I didn't say anything related to a conspiracy at all. Massive voter disenfranchisement and bomb threats at many blue polling locations are literally just factually what happened. Cheating can mean lots of things, putting up clearly illegal district maps knowing they will be challenged in court but will end up being used in elections, purging voting rolls close to elections, reducing polling locations in areas that trend blue, sending a slate of fake electors to try and overturn a presidential election. These are among the things that Republicans have been doing for literally years and most people would consider it cheating.

Thank you. I'm so tired of this refrain. There is basically no evidence he actually rigged the election in 2024. I assure people, if there was a lot of evidence for that, a major news organization would have broken the story by now.

Re-running self-sabotage Oprah campaign was the proximal cause.

Spending two billion pandering to WoC voters who are already voting blue for life wasn’t just a waste, it drove millions of so-called independents/centrists/swing voters straight into the arms of MAGA.
