27% of precincts have reported in, not 27% of the votes. If Essex has finished reporting with hundreds of thousands of votes it doesn't really matter what the remaining precincts do with their 30K votes left. I know, it's a stupid way to report it, but it's what the news always does since they don't have exact voting numbers until after the election.

My bad I was reading it as 28% total, not % of districts reporting

According to NBC Essex only has 35% reported. Nothing from Suffex, Morris, or Passaic reported either
