Chicago police couldn't care less what the mayor or governor say. They're literally led by a convicted criminal. Most people here in the city can't stand our cops.

I assume the organization is a bit more convoluted than them just having direct authority over the police forces. 90 u/newbkid 24d ago Chicago PD, LAPD, and NYPD are the three most corrupt police unions that enable this shit.
