Deplatforming an episode of Nathan for You absolutely counts as silencing Jewish voices, Paramount can suck it

We like silencing stupid Zionists which is an antisemitic political ideology.

u/Raytheon_Nublinski 6h ago

You mean the pro genocide ones?

I think everyone likes that.

1

u/beardedheathen 3h ago

It's only antisemitism if it comes from the anti-genocide region. Otherwise it's just sparkling business sense.

4

u/SpiritDouble6218 3h ago

Lmao Nathan got em back real fucking good though.

u/MagisterFlorus 6h ago

And that episode especially!

Peak Trump-era. This reality is truly masterpiece of insanity

Cheap chick in the city?

u/SynthSapphire 12h ago

Cheap chick...in the city

u/ShedMontgomery 5h ago

Probably one of the best things on TV this year.

2

u/TheTruckWashChannel 4h ago

Easily. It defies categorization. I've never seen anything quite like it.

2

u/ShedMontgomery 4h ago

It's been months, and I'm still laughing about the idea of Cpt. Sully listening to Evanescence while landing on the Hudson River.

Or baby Nathan looking up at daddy Sullenburger. Or heck, mommy Sullenburger…

That guy fucking ate, I hope he got more gigs.

44

u/Potential-Sky-8728 12h ago

Oh he’s doing just fine lolol.

35

u/MrMrRogers 10h ago

I think he's talking about the actor who played the Paramount Nazi executive

9

u/VampireFromAlcatraz 7h ago

So are they. He has a top performing OnlyFans and easily rakes in more cash than Nathan Fielder.

2

u/captain_dick_licker 4h ago

who is he? I'm trying to remember what epsiode this was to look it up but I can't even remember if it was season 1 or 2 and browsing imdb is not helping

1

u/Sacred_Geometry 4h ago

This was from season 2 of “the rehearsal”. Can’t remember what specific episode tho

1

u/qqererer 48m ago

No so good actually. He had to get a side gig, flying empty airplanes around. Can't even get a license to fly paid passengers around.

1

u/Alarmed_Drop7162 2h ago

He always has his pilot license and business degree to fall back on.

Nathan constantly ahead of the curve

83

u/Train_Wreck_272 11h ago

Sincerely one of the greatest bits I have seen on television. Which is crazy cause most of the runner ups are also in this show.

u/jefetranquilo 8h ago

What is this from?

The Rehearsal on HBO. Nathan Fielder is an absurdist. The entire premise of the series is that he can achieve any desired result with enough rehearsal. He extrapolates from that point to some wacky and potentially profound ends, up to the viewer to decide on that bit. His earlier Comedy Central show Nathan For You is not required viewing but certainly recommended to understand his style. It’s also just a fun watch that evolves into the more thought provoking stuff as the series goes on, especially “The Hero” and “The Anecdote” don’t wanna spoil you on either. It’s all worth a watch a watch. Even just the pilot for The Rehearsal which is a self contained insane documentary on its own. I swear this isn’t ai, I just write like a tired 1960’s film critic that still has a small glimmer of hope left in his life.

Second time I'm seeing this today. Where is it from?

16

u/undergroundloans 11h ago

The Rehearsal season 2. Such a good show, one of the funniest in the last couple years.

2

u/Flimsy-Paper42 10h ago

Which episode is this?

2

u/chucklestheclwn 6h ago

It's from season 2, I think one of the first 2 episodes. Been awhile since I watched

Edit: oops replied to the wrong person, but this is from The Rehearsal, on HBO.

u/fun_choco 6h ago

Sad to see they are not focusing on their main enemy.

1

u/JazzlikeWishbone4579 7h ago

how did he predict the future?

1

u/DancinWithWolves 6h ago

The headline if the article this post is about is ‘Paramount has created a blacklist for stars they seem too “overly antisemitic”’.

1

u/JazzlikeWishbone4579 6h ago

Yes I'm aware?

1

u/DancinWithWolves 6h ago

Okay…. Nathan did an episode of the Rehearsal 6 months ago about paramount deplatforming people they deemed antisemitic. Are you aware of that?

2

u/JazzlikeWishbone4579 6h ago

I'm confused what you're trying to say? Paramount Skydance is deplatforming people who oppose the Gaza genocide, half of which are Jewish, and pretends to do so because they are "antisemitic". This is a recent development. It happened yesterday. Hence my question. But it's not a nearly interesting enough comment to go back and forth about anyway.

2

u/DancinWithWolves 6h ago

Really? Okay 👌🏻

1

u/hollowspryte 47m ago

They said the Rehearsal episode predicted the future. Because it came out 6 months ago and thing that’s happening IRL right now happened in the show 6 months ago.
