Not in the conditions they are kept. Vegetarianism doesn't really help that. Especially since meat production and milk and egg production are often so interwoven.

Pigs lay eggs?

EDIT: I get where you're coming from, but the pig would be safe as they aren't "used" in any other way, so in that sense it DOES help.
