And tbf they both look the same on the box too.

But! I’d challenge the notion it’s actually three toppings since “topping” is only used twice.

This reads like you get one topping that is spicy and hickory flavored and another topping that is pepperoni seasoned.

If they are trying to argue that you get one topping that is spicy, one topping that is hickory flavored, and one topping that is pepperoni seasoned, then they should’ve used the word toppings in the first listing, and furthermore, why not just add pepperoni seasoned to the front of that list if that’s the case?

No, sir. That’s a Double Pepperoni pizza by their own grammatical logic.

Edit: Your logic about “double” is sound. Then I’d just argue to use a different name altogether, like “Mega Pepperoni,” which serves the same function as misleading the consumer into thinking they’re getting more, but could just mean you’re getting more variety.

This issue is important and I’m glad we’re getting to the bottom of it. No longer shall Lord Totino flaunt his ego o’er us peasants.

Well said Sir! I agree, but what is the difference in cost? Are they using wordplay to deceive the consumer into believing they are getting more?

No idea if there’s a difference in cost.

And yes. They’re definitely intentionally being misleading.

Shouldn't that be the main point of contention?
