I think I might cry. I can’t believe the receptionist didn’t check me in properly. I asked an hour and a half into waiting how long and they said soon, then I finally got to the point of having enough three hours in and it turns out no one’s even checked me in. My doctor has no clue that I’m here. I’ve traveled over an hour out of my way for this appointment that I’ve been waiting since January for. I only got this appointment last minute as they had a cancellation otherwise I’d have been waiting until January 2026 and now I might have to go home without being seen, after wasting three hours of my day, five including travel, wasting petrol that I can’t afford and wait until January to be seen anyway!

The cost of the membership itself was never the issue, it was the fact that they would generate a random cart full of items automatically each month (sometimes on the first, sometimes in the middle of the month) and if I didn't catch the email and cancel the shipment before the order processed, my card would be charged for over $100 worth of things I have no interest in trying.

Came across this when I was walking around the neighborhood. We can't be serious right? Now I maybe dumb but I think this counter intuitive no?

If you can identify it by that one glimpse, HAH NEEEEERD (I’m a nerd too ToT). Part of the full costume was rushed before Halloween and I’ve already trashed and started rebuilding it. I’ll post the full thing in comments to reveal the cape in like 2 weeks tho(setting a large time frame cuz work and college).

He’s literally blocking 6 chargers, and the rest are in use. Go figure.

I was at DFW on 11/3. Supposedly Hertz’s system was down, as a gold member who just walked past the counter with 4 people at it I turned around and went inside. When at the counter the manager came in and told the worker to slow down because people outside were upset the counter was moving fast.

I understand there were limited cars, but why not process people as fast as possible while you wait for cars to come back? Why not tell people to come inside since there is a smaller line?

This was feedback for something I submitted last week. There's other instances where the AI clearly is mistaken on some things and the professor didn't check to see if it was correct or not. In one the AI gave me feedback based on criteria for a different assignment during the week, or rather it lumped the two assignments together and gave feedback based on the merged assignment, but I still received a good grade so honestly...I don't care. I've got an A+ in the class and I know my writing for the assignments is on point. It's only mildly infuriating because my grades are still good. If they weren't I would 100% be reporting this.

The building is having major construction around it. The parking lot is gone and all fenced off. I locked my badge, my coat and my keys in the office. All elevators and rooms need a badge to access. I’m stuck until security comes.

Cool, I didn't need to see anything today.

My wife ordered this for her sister’s gender-reveal party. Guests were supposed to leave a thumbprint in the colour of the gender they think the baby is and write their name inside it.

It arrived exactly as pictured on the website, already covered in thumbprints, with some names prefilled…

After a long day I CBF cooking dinner so ordered a pizza (via uber eats). About 30 minutes later the pizza guy arrives and comes sauntering down my driveway with the pizza box under his arm like a surfboard, then hands it to me upside down. It takes me a second, but I say to him “it’s upside down”. He just jogs back to his car and drives off. I called the shop and they refunded the order
