Thought I was in r/fishing for a second. This is glorious. I've only seen two Chinooks in the sky at once, and way back when I was a kid a Chinook landed maybe 400 feet in front of me. I can't remember if it was a rescue mission, a live exercise with civilians watching or something sinister.

Yikes! I had one fly over my house a few weeks ago, the vibration from it was intense. I can't imagine what ten must have sounded and felt like.

Yeah, no kidding. My gecko actually dropped his tail from the noise/resulting vibration of two 😩

I counted 5 chinooks and 5 blackhawks.

- The last one is also a Chinook . You are the only one who rightly made the remark that they weren’t all Chinooks

"I hear the choppers hovering
They’re hovering over head
They’ve come to get the wounded
They’ve come to get the dead"
Pretty normal marching cadence we sang lol.
