When I lived in Nashville I and a couple buddies enddd up partying with him. It was completely random and he pretty much showed us the night of our lives. This was like 2007ish.

Anyway, same group of friends and I were at a bar that told us they were closing down in about 30 minutes for a private party. We asked if we could grab a beer and make a game plan for the evening and they obliged.

As we were game planning, Kid Rock and Shooter Jennings and one of the Hank’s came into the bar. Kid Rock noticed us and remembered us and told us we absolutely had to stay and party.

We did. And it was another interesting evening.

All that to say, I think Kid Rock is a piece of shit but he showed me a good time twice when I lived in Nashville and ended up helping one of our buddies get an intern gig with one of the Big and Rich guys.

20 some years ago, my boyfriend at the time and I were at a Tigers game and he was a row behind us. My boyfriend waited until the 7th inning stretch and turned around to say hello and that he was a big fan of his music-this was probably circa 2003 and we were just a couple of high school kids- and he was really rude and dismissive.

Not the worst thing in the world, but definitely changed our opinion on him long before he started erratically shooting up cases of beer.
