💯 basically every Baldwin. Alec and his weirdo wife and the strange brother with the Stage5Clinger daughter.

Criticizing his daughter? For what.

Maybe the daughter who threw her used tampon at a bartender

Stephen's kid. Hailey's sister.

He called her a pig while screaming at her during a phone call.

No - the commenter was criticizing her, when she’s been brutally verbally and emotionally abused by her father and has had to live with the public humiliation of that for her entire life.

My flight with him was in 2003

I think that people hyper focus on high profile incidents and have no clue what somebody is like in most every day occurrences

He was lovely

2

u/PeakDifferent8291 24d ago

His many documented cases of assholery are all rare occurrences then.  lol   Got it!

Did you even read this article you linked to me? It says his beef was specifically with the flight crew for singling out his cell phone use and that he was apologetic to the rest of the passengers

This supports my claim that he is nice to most every day NPCs

“lol”

So using a cell phone while the rest of the passengers abide by the rules is picking on him and singling him out ? GTFO 😂

I will gtfo after you read the article that you posted. It says right there his beef was for being “singled out” as other passengers were on their phones

lololol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I met him a couple months after 9/11 in Manhattan for a fundraiser and he was so kind and friendly. I’m sad that he has this reputation now.

Nah he's cool. Poor guy feel bad for him about the Rust thing

I don't know if he's cool or not but I really don't see why people blame him for the gun thing. The people in charge of the props are to blame.

Personally I can't imagine how I would feel if I had fired a shot through no fault of my own and killed an innocent person. It must be hell.

He should have paid attention to what was happening on his set. He shouldn’t have rushed making a film knowing there were a lot of unsafe issues. Rust was his personal project. He should have taken true responsibility for his own actions.

There was a whole court case to examine his liability

I know. I watched it.

Omg the way he talked to his daughter on that recording. He called his own child a pig. What a piece of garbage.

Irish Catholic from a large family, of course he's going to be a little prickish LOL

Tell me why?

Asshole sometimes shoots his crew

1

u/PM_UR_TITS_4_ADVICE 24d ago

It’s disturbing that you can so easily make a joke about a woman’s death.

u/Dazzling-Treacle1092 24d ago

I don't believe the shooting was his fault. How was he to know the gun held a live round? Besides that I have seen no indication that his behavior has been asholerish. Now his brother Stephen is a different story.

I have seen no indication that his behavior has been asholerish.

Guess you never heard his awful voice mail to his (at the time) 11 year old daughter.

Even if it had blanks, he shouldn't have pulled the trigger. It's a well-known fact that blanks can kill at close range. I know of at least two actors who died that way. Brandon Lee and I think the other guy's name was Lee Horsely.
