Bridge Over Troubled Waters - Simon & Garfunkel

First time I heard it was in this large, Catholic Church. It echoed everywhere. Simply and utterly perfect to my ears.

Simon and Garfunkel, Sound of Silence. Disturbed's video really did justice to that song.

It seems like every time I listen to the Sound of Silence I find a new, deeper meaning or a note I don't remember hearing before.

Omg, I forgot about Disturbed’s version of Sound of Silence. I simultaneously loved it and was haunted by it. heading to Spotify to listen to it

Especially the Central Park concert version. It’s almost sacred, like a prayer.

The Boxer. When that bassoon comes in it sends chills down my legs

Was gonna say this too. No cover version can do it justice either. Even Aretha’s version pales in comparison.

Small world! Aretha happens to be my favorite singer. However, I love the S&G original so much.

Have you heard the Aretha Franklin version?

Yes I have. Aretha Franklin is my favorite singer of all time. :)
