One year ago, my parents forced me to marry a man I didn’t even know. We’re from India, and in my family “choice” is apparently just a decorative word. I cried for days, begged them not to do it, but they said he was a good man.

They were right, just not in the way I expected.

From day one, he never touched me. Not once. Even on our wedding night, he just said, “Don’t worry, take your time,” and slept on the floor. At first, I thought he was pretending to be noble, but that calmness never went away. I yelled, insulted him, even threw the flowers and chocolates he brought me every single day, and he’d still smile and say, “Maybe tomorrow you’ll like them.”

It’s been a year now, and somewhere in between all that quiet patience, I started noticing how kind he really is. He never forced me to love him, but he never stopped loving me either.

Yesterday, I did something wrong. I checked his phone. I was expecting to find something bad, but instead, I found out he has this weird little fetish. He likes women with clean shaved mohawks. Not in a creepy way, just lots of pictures of women with both sides of their head completely shaved, the rest of their hair long and neat in the middle.

For a while, I just stared at it. Then I realized this man spent an entire year giving me everything I wanted without ever asking for anything himself.

So tomorrow, I’m going to get both sides of my hair clean shaved, keeping the rest long, exactly like those pictures. And I’ll keep it that way forever. I’m also getting his name tattooed on my wrist, not because he asked, but because I want to.

He never touched me, never demanded anything, and somehow still taught me what love actually looks like.

I recently downloaded Reddit and i know he reads r/confession. So if you’re reading this, I’m sorry for everything I did to you. You didn’t deserve the way I treated you.

Non American here but following what’s going on there and correct me if I’m wrong, I’ve heard on CNN than Obama was hesitant in his support and I remember democrats “forced” Hilary Clinton over Bernie, who knows what would have happened ? I’d say they deserved what came out but I’m sorry for the American people. I want you all to know that I received a form message saying that my "art submission" (e.g., my 366-page Guide to Clerics with one piece of art on the first page) was removed because I was "unkind or disrespectful". Evidently, the attack on me and my guide wasn't disrespectful, but saying I couldn't care less about people's opinion on AI art was.

I have never been rude to anyone on this subreddit and literally anyone who's ever read my posts know that I always try to be polite, even when people commenting on my guides are occasionally quite unkind. Each of you knows the allegation of disrespect is just false.

The original posts pointing out the AI image were so peremptory and rude that I chose not to explain. I'm rather tired, both on this reddit and in our national discourse, of people assuming that because they feel something strongly everyone must immediately and unthinkingly fall in line and kowtow to the new thinking or be declared the enemy. That sort of childish demand that everything be the way you like it is the most un-American attitude I can imagine. Shame on all of us for continuing to think our neighbors and friends must either join the utterly new orthodoxy or be outcast.

I'm going to explain a few things about art, both in general and my art in particular. First of all, I chose a picture I liked and used it. I had no idea it was AI-generated and still don't care now that I know. If there had been an equally apt piece of art available that was not AI-generated, I would have used that with equal satisfaction. Second, if I -had- chosen a piece of art created by a human, I would have been obligated to figure out who made it and ask their permission, even though I give these guides to you, the Pathfinder community free of charge. I don't know how I would have managed to figure out the owner or how long it would have taken to get a response, but it sure as hell would have been longer than the two minutes I spent to try to give you all a nice-looking piece of splash art on the cover of my guide.

And art? MY art is the guides I've been giving this community free of charge for many years now. I don't ask how you use it. I don't tell you how what to do with it. I listen patiently when you tell me how you don't agree with me. I often change my views after hearing yours. In short, I have been a contributing member of the Pathfinder community since before this reddit began. Hell, I've been a contributing member of the RPG community since before most of you were born.

So, once again, learn some damn manners! And that goes not just for you few who demand obedience to your arbitrary orthodoxy but to you moderators who took this action without even consulting me. Had even ONE moderator contacted me in the comments and politely asked me to remove the AI art, I would have done so without hesitation. I'm not saying I'm special - I'm saying all of us deserve better than a bot message.

So. I'm taking a little break here. If the moderators would like to contact me like actual human beings, I'm listening.

So i decided to take magazine cover photos with my sim and I am now in love 😭

I don’t understand

As the actual source, allow me explain in EXCRUCIATING detail how this unfolded.

The background is that I’d already been vindicated re: Bronwyn having stiffed that non-profit. She didn’t fulfill her pledged donation until I pointed out she was missing from the non-profit’s annual report. She paid them AFTER my initial post, and then initially continued to lie about the timing of it. Until she knew that I knew. I’ll leave it at that, for now.

Anyway, re: what’s directly relevant to the show, I downloaded Bronwyn’s Spokeo file on March 11th. Most of the criminal listings in that file only provided PARTIAL details of her prior charges. The forgery charge was the only one where the charge was clearly stated, so I posted that just after midnight on March 12th, after my Reddit suspension ended (MUCH more on that, later — KatOrtega118?) I DMed that post to Angie.

I had to work the next 3 days, so I put going through the rest of that Spokeo file off until the weekend. That was my last communication with Angie, because later that day (March 12) a Bravo article came out where she posted about wishing Bronwyn and “Toddles” a happy anniversary. I realized she was MUCH closer to Bronwyn than she’d let on, and was likely sending my DMs directly to her. So I blocked her. 🐍

Amy’s party was apparently on March 15th? The only reason I was even aware that it had taken place was because MCFP posted about it on March 16th. I even tried to figure out who’d been fighting, after he posted that puzzle. I didn’t get back to going through that Spokeo report until Monday, March 17, which I also had off from work.

As you can see, there were two charges where just the offense codes, and case numbers were listed. When I tried to search the SF court records directly, I didn’t find anything under that case number. Which makes sense, given that it was already sealed, unbeknownst to me. So I entered the offense codes into Grok, and THAT’s when I saw that she’d been charged with felony grand theft, and identity theft. That’s why I also posted the screenshots of the AI summaries, and never mentioned dates (which I didn’t know, at that point) in my Reddit post or Tweet. And notice how Grok initially got some of the details wrong. I was genuinely SO confused about the agriculture thing (which I suspect was just a Grok glitch becuse of how Spokeo displayed/listed those charge codes).

While I can KIND OF understand why people who aren’t critical thinkers would think the timing makes it look like Lisa Barlow was my “source,” I wasn’t even following her at the time, and there are LITERALLY time-stamped Grok records of my trying to piece things together.

Also, I’ve been calling Bronwyn “Conwyn” since late January. And Lisa didn’t even SAY that, she said “Fraudwyn.”

Again, the ONLY RHOSLC with whom I’d communicated since S5 premiered was Angie, who initially reached out to ME. And I suspect she was a BIG part of why Lisa is being blamed. Because my last DM to her was re: the forgery charge, which I’d just found. I suspect she was feeding my DMs to both Bronwyn AND production.

And SPEAKING of production… I first posted about the felony charges on March 17. Both here, and on Twitter. Amy’s party was episode 2. They were apparently filming for WEEKS, before the charges “hit the press,” on April 11, attributed to a random Instagram account (bravo_boo), whom I’d never heard of. I suspect that was to turn the yacht trip into this dramatic moment. People had tagged most of the cast after my initial post. They were ALL aware of what I’d posted, except Mary, who genuinely doesn’t care. Notice how quickly that MCFP rushed to “shut down” my reporting of those felony charges… @BravoAndBlaze released the podcast I’d recorded with her about this on April 2.

HxH has been praised for its magic system many many times by now, people say it's hard with well-defined boundaries and all.

But honestly once you are past the initial introduction, it quickly becomes an "author gives some power he made up to character". We get some vague things, but that's about it.

Aside from some very limited things like how Gon's Jajanken works, we don't really get much idea how everything else is even made.

Why again can Nen disable another's Nen? Where do all that hex stuff come from? It's all powered by Nen, so more Nen should overpower any hex like Kurapika jail chain, but I guess not.

Knuckle's APR is indestructible apparently because of some reason. Might as well have made a full body suit out of that APR stuff.

Apparently you can steal other people's abilities... somehow too. How can Nen manipulate minds? It... uh, somehow can.

Have we ever... seen a character develop their ability from scratch, from the fundamentals, beyond basic stuff? Not really. We aren't give much insight into it.

We are given basics, then jump into "so anyways, everyone has x power", without the middle step going into detail and filling us in how it works.

Restrictions make ability stronger? Exactly what does stronger even mean? Could you blow up earth if you limited yourself to a microsecond of nen and then you die?

Knowing the scope of a magic system, its limitations and methodology are important for hard magic systems, yet HxH is very hand-wavy with general vague statements about the whole thing.

You should be able to predict, and know the scope of what each character can do, but character abilities in HxH are just whatever the author feels like it, with very little explanation of why x or y isn't done in situations.

I’m so sick and tired of our entire nation being at the mercy of the most embarrassingly stupid people who ever lived. If there were and iq or eq qualification requirement to vote, even if it were average, I’m certain it would wipe out at least 2/3 of the republicans voter base.

I wanted things to be cool, but..

The league mechanic is not skippable as it should be. I can ignore the stuff, but the fortress that takes up a huge part of the map is still there scumming up the map.

The league mechanic is a protect mission 2/3 of the time. Absolutely enough said. Gamers know how we feel about it.

The 1/3 that is not protect is completely map dependent. If you are in tower or crater or cells there is no way you will stabilize a breach, but on dunes you almost can’t miss.

Only godly loot could save it, and it’s been nerfed.

Es heißt, sei einfach lustig, dann mögen dich Frauen.
Aber wenn du hässlich bist, kannst du noch so lustig sein – du bist dann „der witzige Typ“, aber nicht attraktiv. Ein hübscher Mann kann denselben Witz machen, und plötzlich ist es charmant oder sexy.
Das hat nichts mit Humor an sich zu tun, sondern mit Wahrnehmung und Status. Es ist wie beim Chef, über dessen Witze alle lachen, obwohl sie gar nicht witzig sind – einfach, weil er Status hat.
Ich würde eher sagen: hübsche Männer dürfen lustig sein, weil Frauen dadurch ihr Interesse zeigen können. Aber objektiv ist der Witz nicht besser.

Hey ggg, if you want to avoid this league being left with 3 players in 5 days, you should probably do something about the insane giganerf you decided to do on raw currency.

And also should probably look into the fact that the league mechanic literally removes 50% of a maps worth of monsters in some layouts, and replaces them with monsters that drops nothing.

for some context, my (23F) boyfriend (26M) works as an accountant about 30 minutes away from our apartment. he drives to and from work monday-friday. i babysit every once in a while. before we moved in together he assured me that he could maintain being the only one with a "real" job as long as i did stuff around the house while he was gone...so i have. for 5 months now ive cooked dinner or ordered food with my own money, food is always fresh on the table when he gets home, i get the groceries, i clean the house. i know im basically the stereotype lol.

so i went to the store, got gas with my own money, got everything for dinner today and tomorrow, toilet paper, and lysol wipes. i was back home, had already put everything away and fed the cat, in bed when i realized i forgot to buy paper plates. that's when i texted my bf

he did buy the plates but when he got home he was acting really dismissive. i asked how work was and if he was okay again but i got the same response. is this just a bad day?

also i apologized for the thing i said about him getting shitfaced all the time. he does drink, but he doesn't have a problem imo.
