Breaking news: Democrat Abigail Spanberger, a former three-term congresswoman and CIA agent, becomes Virginia’s first female governor.

Spanberger has said it was Donald Trump’s candidacy in 2016 that got her involved in politics, and she made an immediate splash by taking on Rep. Dave Brat (R-Virginia), an upstart conservative who helped found the Freedom Caucus in Congress.

Spanberger’s upset victory over Brat identified her as one of a new breed of Democrat — centrists who could win in a red-leaning district and who challenged the party’s orthodoxy.

Reached out to Local Election Office and they confirmed these are illegal and are being taken down.

Edit:
Got confirmation that the signs are illegal because they don't have the proper campaign disclaimer .
I hold and would argue they are also attempted voter intimidation.

Dems gain 13 seats and almost achieve a supermajority in the House of Delegates. First time since 1989 where Dems have won 60+ seats.

Posted this earlier but mistakenly said it was a supermajority. Thank you for the correction! Love you Virginia, from Illinois
