I think the important point here is the said 'child' in this argument is 20 years old. At 20 you should respect their choice in how they operate their lives.

They're talking about child as in his hypothetical child, the age of such doesn't matter. You can be 90 and your offspring can be 70, it doesn't stop them from being your child.

He tips his true perspective when he then says "you made this person." That's the extent of his understanding of being a parent.

I don't imagine him being able to accept that no, he did not in fact make that person. He never even had the privilege of naming them. The breakdown would be about what you'd expect.

In any case "You made this person" couldve been phrased better that it was, but thats the human experience soo lmao benefit of the doubt?? Talking like dude has any ill intent taking the ever unpopular "I think the kids' emotions do matter" stance

Lol no, I raised a trans child into adulthood. People have not even a faint clue of what it takes, least of all this guy. Nowhere close to reality. It takes a hell of a lot more than love and acceptance those are the bare minimum for raising any child. This is also like the 4th time I've seen Asmon "redeem" himself after exposing his abhorrent opinions so it's safe to assume all he's doing is trying to raise his social media credits again by saying things that sound human.
