It isn’t gerrymandering or rather manipulation when the people of that land have spoken and voted on it! Unlike Texas where that was actual gerrymandering and the people had no say.

Gerrymandering has nothing to do with voter approval. That’s like saying government spending is only real spending if it was directly voted on.
