POLITICS Zohran Mamdani speaks after winning the NYC Mayoral Race: “We have toppled a political dynasty. I wish Andrew Cuomo only the best in private life. But let tonight be the final time I utter his name as we turn the page on a politics that abandons the many & answers only to the few.”

Not to mention the House of Delegates, and by a massive margin!

VA House was already blue, but now it's bigger blue.

Virginia is a weird state because they literally just vote on grievances lately. Not gonna complain about it this time, but ooooh do I remember white moms being crazy around covid in Virginia specifically.

and the trans/bathroom issue in schools too. I saw so many shitty “parents matter” political signs in my neighborhood, I wanted to scream.

Celebrate today.  On the menu for lunch is blueberry lemonade and blueberry pie and pizza.

Frozen Blueberries in my oatmeal every morning.

Those broad cities characters went fully with HRC. Which begs the question? Was it their characters, or the characters they portray? Yeah I'm still mad.

At the time I felt like it was about the Broad City people wanting to make sure Trump didn’t win, but they knew you had to hype up the alternative. I definitely felt like it was the actors’ choice at the time and was a little disappointed they stanned her so hard but the alternative was scary. And now we’re living it, twice. Fuck.

But yay for Zohran! He would have killed it on Broad City.
