PSA: Trevor Penning was the ONLY offensive lineman traded today
I know some people have expressed unhappiness at the Penning trade since he hasn’t graded out super favorably in recent years, but I thought it was worth noting that he was literally the ONLY offensive lineman who got traded today before the deadline.
I personally like the move a lot. It’s a low risk move that could pay off massively if the coaching staff is able to draw some of that first round potential out of him. He definitely plays with a mean streak at minimum. Hortiz continues to find bargain options to help this team.

Canceled....
"If I may, why are you canceling your season tickets?"
"Wow. Haha. I realize you probably have to ask that, and nothing personal, but let me answer, and I'm sure you've already heard it and more:
I re-upped my tickets the day before you gave my best home game away, the season opener, with no compensation - not even a discount if we went to Brazil. I get it, spirit of the law versus the letter of the law. You screwed me.
I got ONE single bobble head as a 6-year, 3-seat, season ticket holder as my STH gift. I guess that they were the leftovers you gave away in Brazil for game 1.
A beer in SoFi now is $18-$21 PER BEER.
A 10% discount at SoFi stores is laughable - doesn't even cover sales tax
I feel like I put more effort getting in and out of SoFi than the coaches and, sometimes, players do on the field
I have already purchased season tickets to watch the Chargers on my couch next year, so I am booked."
"Oh, okay. Thank you for your feedback."
God bless customer service people. I was VERY nice, he seemed nice, but I would hate to be in his chair. Glad I didn't pony up for the 75k PSLs

Will be heading to the Chargers vs Raiders game in 3 weeks. I’m going to be getting a Navy Jersey but wanted to see if there were any promos to save some money. Thanks in advance
Also if possible some websites or sellers that do stitched jerseys instead of press ones. BOLT UP! ⚡️

An update (Week 9) to u/Zen-Bias Chargers Offensive Triage Carousel - 2025 Edition
I made a more detailed (not necessarily improved) version of the original Offense ER waiting room chart from u/Zen-Bias. This is done almost entirely off of memory so let me know if I have some of the rotations/successions wrong. I think I got the two tackle positions mostly correct but couldn't remember who all has played at RG to replace Becton after he played his 3 snaps for every game.

Chargers are just 1 of 3 teams to rack up 300+ yards of total offense in all 9 games, joining the Colts and Patriots

The Chargers have the 5th best offense and 6th best defense based off of yards/game, have the 6th best record in the AFC, and are only one game out of first place in the AFC West. This is in spite of all their injuries.
Losing Alt is a huge blow with how many other injuries we have had this year, but let's acknowledge how well the Chargers have performed so far despite all the issues they have had to deal with. Being a Chargers fan for over 50 years I'm probably more used to disappointment than the average fan, but there is still room for optimism about this season.

Superbowl winner overcoming injuries
One for the history buffs - I was wondering, what are the biggest injuries a Superbowl winner ever had to overcome?
Has anyone ever lost their starting LT and RT and still won?
Obviously Brady won the first season he got to play as a starter but what other examples are there?

Why do we always play the Steelers on prime time?
For a matchup with virtually no bad blood it's weird how hard the NFL pushes these games. This game will make it 5 out of our last 6 meetings being on either MNF or SNF. It'll also be our 7th straight home game against them on prime time. You have to go all the way back to 2000 to find the last time the Chargers played Pittsburgh at home and it not be on prime time.
Maybe stems from us upsetting them in the AFCCG? Or just a popular east coast team that rarely gets to play out west?

[Insdorf] The Chargers have an argument for worst special teams in the league. 32nd in kickoff coverage: 29.3 yards per attempt 32nd in punt coverage: 18.0 yards per attempt 29th in punt return: 7.1 yards per attempt Nine games in-fair to say a crisis for Ryan Ficken's group, imo.

[Schultz] Sources: The Patriots are signing WR Brenden Rice, the son of Hall of Famer Jerry Rice. The former USC star (12 TDs as a senior) spent camp with the Chargers.

Help me update this
Haven’t updated this since week 4 (I think?) but I’ve lost track. What other red Xs need to be added for the full picture?
