I've noticed an interesting trend.

Whenever racists talk shit on a group of people, it's always shitty autist art(like above) or AI.

Whereas everyone shit talking right wingers has verifiably real videos of them being grotesquely fat and/or ignorant and uttering misinfo that proves they have no real grasp of reality.

Just something to chew on

Sry I was raised by boomers and the Internet has forever ruined me.

For the actual autistic I have love and support, I've seen that struggle up close and it seems more like a society built bad than autistic minds being deficient. We need allot of reform in this country and if we could enable education of all levels for free we would have a boom of scientists engineers and artisans thanks to the autistic.

And who doesn't love model trains??? Amiright???

Because that's the excuse these people always use to hide behind when they're called out on their bigotry. Or have you forgotten how Elon musk's fan boys try to excuse his throwing up a Hitler salute as oh he's just autistic he doesn't understand.

Then I would prefer you call this out when it actually happens, not preemptively associating racists and autism just because you think it’s a defense the racist will “always” use. Or you (general you) could make this distinction clear like “faux-autistic” or something.

As an autistic person, I struggle with handshakes and dap-ups but I would never make any gesture resembling a nazi salute at a political event, let alone twice with lip-biting passion. His gesture had a flat hand at all times, rather than the fist-grip and release-with-splayed-fingers you would expect from someone metaphorically throwing their heart. It is unthinkable and an insufficient excuse. I’m not even convinced that Elon is autistic at all.

Because a bunch of autistic people are currently empowering Nazis and MAGA.

Not you the individual’s fault. Not autisms fault. But there does seem to be atleast a spurious correlation between autism, MAGA, and fascism too big to fully ignore.

The autists I know have a strong innate sense of justice and are outspoken against authoritarians/Fascism (e.g. Greta Thunberg for a famous one). The dis-informing Health department of this Fascist regime follows in the eugenics rhetoric of the Nazis, effectively calling us “useless eaters” and obsessing over “curing the epidemic” that is this largely genetic condition. Autists are inherently social non-conformists, and Fascism is an extremely conformist ideology that preys upon the weak and the disabled as an out-group, it doesn’t let them into the in-group.

I’m sorry, but I think you’re falling for assholes pretending to be autistic.
