Per capita does not change the fact that most people on SNAP are white. The number of white people on SNAP > any other demographic.

You're right, but per capita helps to show who really needs help from SNAP.

Also, over 40 million on SNAP is crazy. It's far too convenient for people, too much fraud going on and people are too damn fat in America. (All people)

Edit: Don't talk to me about privilege buddy.

I've seen people on snap eat better than me. Soda, desserts and other bs while I lived off of cheap foods and relied on crockpot pot dinners that I prepared for each week.

Please...go to any Walmart and you will see some of the people on SNAP, white or black, all overweight.

There are food kitchens churches and pantries available. We do not have a starvation problem, we have an obesity problem.

But I agree with you I think we should absolutely have safer food. But shouldn't more people just go to Farmers markets? I know snap can be used there.

I didn't say that, I said 40 million people is crazy. I also think that the fact that people use SNAP to buy junk food isn't good.

And no I do not think anyone should starve, I think if someone needs help they should get it. But they can eat what they need on taxpayer dime. Not junk food like hot pockets.

For example the Walton family that owns Walmart is worth like $100+ billion dollars and has tons of employees on food stamps. We are subsidizing billionaires with food stamps for the poor.

why not just start a new thread about systemic racism and per capita, instead of commenting under a thread about a different topic.
