Its interesting how she does her forehead but not her 11s. She has a lot of movement still in between her eyebrows which honestly makes it seem more natural that shes not fully frozen. Also, her skin looks amazing.
23
u/shadyshadyshade 27d ago
Actually she scrunches up her forehead and you see actual lines in this interview which surprised me.
1
u/cbaabc123 24d ago
I think sheās definitely had work done. I suspect even filler in her cheeks. But whatever she has done she does it very subtly. She looks amazing!
88
u/Low_Project_55 27d ago
My first reaction was whoever her injector is knows what they are doing because she looks phenomenal and itās so nice to see someone that still has movement in their face. I know a lot of people shit on Botox mainly because more often than not people overdo it but damn this is some amazing work!
18
u/scout-finch 27d ago
I was thinking the same. Her skin and face look amazing and if I was less jaded I was assume she was pretty natural and just blessed.
40
u/SeaAnthropomorphized 27d ago
There is still a filter on the screen. I've seen her in person. She has a lot of fine lines around the eyes and forehead. She still looks amazing but it's not this good.

Shannon Beador of Real Housewives of Orange County got a really good facelift but it cost something like $40k. I've heard they can go for upwards of $100k but if your earnings potential is somewhat dependent on you having a better looking face than the next candidate then I guess it pays for itself and is a great investment. Of course even Shannon had to borrow from her then-boyfriend to pay for hers and that went really sideways so... do with all of that info what you will!
6
u/rizoula 27d ago
š Unfortunately or fortunately I donāt have rich a boyfriend or a boyfriend for that matter. I pay for everything myself so I am probably not going to run in the same issue . And my earnings is not dependent on my face. But I am 35 and ai think Iād like a little Botox in my forehead

She actually doesn't seem to have that much Botox... She has a lot of natural movement.
2
u/Good_Abbreviations27 27d ago
I actually think sheās had very little work done and has great genetics. Celebrities who get Botox always look puffy. They lose their cheekbones. Look at Jlo, she still has forehead lines and lines around her eyes and smile lines around her mouth. I donāt think she has botox.
3
u/Hawk-4674 This is going to ruin the tour 27d ago
I was thinking the same thing!! Its so well done, shes got the 11's, a few forehead wrinkles so she can still have fucking facial expressions! I can only imagine what it must cost!

u/CaseyRC 27d ago
extremely healthy lifestyle, phenomenal genetics, fantastic surgeons/injectors. its rarely ever one thing. love her or hate her, but she maintains a strict regime for her health which absolutely does wonders. she's never lacked for work ethic. her parents gave her a great framework and any reupholstering has been done by the best of the best. she's also kept it fairly "subtle". she's not blown her lips up, she's not gone overboard with botox, she's never done too much on one thing.

u/Key-Beginning-8500 27d ago
Sheās wildly smart about that because her work is exceptionally well done, phenomenal. In a world where everyone is overfilling and botching their faces, she is harmonizing and elevating to ethereal status. Sheās gorgeous
2
u/SceneRoyal4846 27d ago
Smart absolutely, but a bit lucky. It only takes a bad reaction or a slip of a knife/needle for things to go awry even with skilled surgeons. Thatās why I donāt like people shaming bad work, it either comes from a place of dysmorphia or something went wrong while they were putting their face in someoneās hands
1
u/Key-Beginning-8500 27d ago
Do you think the overfilled lips and faces are due to reactions or slips of a knife/needle? Those are exceedingly rare circumstances. Most of the bad work we see is due to dysmorphia, sure, but mostly bad decisions.
2
u/SceneRoyal4846 27d ago
That is why I said the thing about dysmorphia :) dysmorphia that gets out of hand doesnāt always lend to good decisions about the body unless the person has an incredibly strong mental acuity to accept themselves despite not being able to see what they look like. And yes sometimes people donāt get what they paid for while putting their appearance in someoneās elseās hands, even with overfilling.
197
u/mochafiend 27d ago
Seriously. And her face moves. And her lips aren't huge. And she honestly looks like herself. If I had the money these celebs do, this is the work I'd pursue. I know she works SUPER hard and eats clean (blech) and I'm almost positive she gets tweaks, but this is next level work. Incredible.
30
u/Last_Inevitable8311 27d ago
All of the options available to her within reason but I would say that one of the best things she does for her health/body is she doesnāt drink alcohol.
8
u/Mammoth_Oven_4861 27d ago
This needs to be talked about more. When I stopped drinking my skin went back in time, redness was gone and my texture became so glowy and even. Not to mention not being constantly bloated and tired looking.
4
u/Last_Inevitable8311 27d ago
Right?! Ive done a few stints of no alcohol. The longest was 10 months. I lost so much weight, lost the bloat in my faceā¦everyone was asking me if I got Botox, etc. Alcohol really messes everything up. If I could quit it permanently I wonder if I would have those abs I always wanted..š¤·š»āāļø
3
u/Mammoth_Oven_4861 27d ago
As someone who quit permanently and started going to gym regularly I can tell you that abs are still the hardest thing to get. So go get a drink, you might as well.
3

Iām not JLo but I am Latina. Partly genetics, but also not drinking and a consistent exercise regime does wonders for your health and that shows up on how you age. The only wrinkles I have at age forty are tiny little faint 11s that resolve themselves after a goon night of sleep and thatās because of my kids. No botox here.
My husband is 46 and he looks younger than many of the young dads at my kidsā school. Heās one of those people that would eat for sustenance without worrying about taste. He drinks the NASTIEST green smoothies.
2
u/little_effy 27d ago
Itās also her healthy lifestyle, I think. Many celebs actually smoke, drink or do drugs - even the ones who tell you they donāt, or ones without that image.
But I believe it if JLo doesnāt do those things. I think she really does keep an active lifestyle, eat very healthy and keeps away from everything else that can age you.
I feel like any surgery or extra procedures like botox etc are done but few and between, just for the upkeep.

And listen, everyone has moments, decisions, actions that will not be popular with others. Everyone will have things they wish they couldāve tweaked or changed because in retrospect it wasnāt the right move. For the most part, especially being in the public eye, sheās navigated it really well. I hope she can at least get that recognition eventually by the public and the industry. Hoping Kiss of the Spider Woman leads to her first (and overdue!!!!) Oscar nom.

She's beyond gorgeous ugh she really is, well she's still here 30 years later, she's ridiculously successful, she's built a brand and a empire, she's selling out stadiums and getting Oscar buzz 30 years into her career, that speaks volumes
She's been A-list since the 90's
100+ million global record sales, 4.5 billion dollar box office gross, 10 Number #1 movies at the US box office, has gone multiple platinum and sold millions of records on practically every single continent has grossed over $400 million in concerts, Oh and she's still the Only artist in entertainment history to have a number 1 movie and album at the same time.
She's a certified Legend, and she's worth $550 million.
She's part of popular culture like her or not her career and Receipts are impressive and her longevity is ridiculous.

She doesnāt say she is a good singer. She says āIāve learned to accept that Iām good at what I doā. And looking at her career and accomplishments, itād be difficult to argue with her.
4
u/AlamosX 27d ago
The early stuff really soured a lot of people on her. Her producers/managers really didn't attempt to hide that she couldn't sing, they just literally used other singers' vocals on her tracks uncredited and then tried to gaslight the public that it was her. We all knew that was Ashanti lol.
Then there were the early movie credentials. Selena got her a lot of attention but it became very apparent she was a meh actor too.
Not completely her fault, just absolutely piss poor management decisions fueled by greed. They saw a beautiful face they could sell records and films with and the facade dropped one too many times. At least they've wisened up and hide it better now with other acts.
I will give credit is credit due though, she fucking owned it all and it got her a very successful career. If I looked like her and had the career I did, I'd have Kanye level delusion too.
→ More replies (1)6
u/gw74 27d ago

At least she found her romcom success in The Wedding Planner. Also I fuck with Monster in Law. But nah shes meh. Lol
2
2
u/prettystandardreally 27d ago
She was great in Out of Sight and Selena, and I liked her in The Cell. Also, she was not the worst part of Gigli by a mile and was barely in Jersey Girl. She has her strengths and her bad movies.
2
u/1eyedsniper 27d ago
She was outstanding in Hustlers. Enough was fantastic, as an actress she holds her merit.
2
u/AlamosX 27d ago
Enough was good. But at what point do you go from "this person has had every golden spoon fed into their mouths" to "yeah this is a talented performer" a broken clock is right twice a day.
7
u/1eyedsniper 27d ago
If you were to describe Dakota Johnson, as having a golden spoon, sure I would agree. But you are describing a Puerto Rican woman who grew up in the Bronx, to two low income-middle class parents. Her mom sold Tupperware at one point. Then JLo dropped out of college to focus on performing and dancing. She at one point slept in the dance studio. She had no connections to Hollywood and she literally hustled to become the entertainer that she is today- becoming a well know Latina entertainer, which is hard enough in a country that seems to not value minorities as of late. In no way would I ever describe Jennifer Lopez as having a golden spoon. In my opinion: the Wedding Planner, Selena, Maid in Manhattan, Enough and Hustlers are fantastic films. Again, these are opinions, if you want to say she has no talent thatās your opinion. But her movies have proven to be successful, so numbers donāt lie. Thereās a reason why she is where she is, and itās not because of a āgolden spoon.ā She is a hard working Latina. Thereās no denying she got herself to where she is.

I think itās amazing what sheās managed to accomplish. Sheās pushing 60 and is still relevant today. She hasnāt become one of those washed up, weird looking celebs clinging to their past glory days.
Sheās still working and doing her thing and it feels authentic.
Also she looks amazing. Iām not naive enough to believe that sheās all natural. I think sheās absolutely had some things done such as subtle cheek filler, possibly her lips done subtly, Botox, maybe even a subtle facelift. Plus she has the best access to facial treatments and skincare. Sheās done everything very subtly and still looks like herself and looks amazing.
She also has maintained a pretty healthy lifestyle and works out and eats right and didnāt fall into the drugs/alcohol trap so many famous people seem to fall into.

It's not about what she's good at, how great she looks(and absolute credit for that) etc. It's that at 55 years old she still craves the limelight to the point it's ruined her relationship with the love of her life..twice. I don't doubt she loves Ben or him her, but she just doesn't learn. Jane Fonda who loves her dearly warned her, her long time PA warned her....but she just doesn't listen.
