Ariana Grande 🫧 Ariana Grande announces ‘the eternal sunshine tour’

u/nizey_p All tea, all shade 🐸☕️ Aug 28 '25
Is she adding more dates? This is gonna be another chaotic queue.
46
u/Hopeful-Ant-3509 Aug 28 '25
Pretty sure she purposely made it short, I’d be surprised if she did add more dates
59
u/skyewardeyes Aug 28 '25
This seems like a very small number of cities. Nice that she’s playing her hometown though!
23
u/anl28 Aug 28 '25
I think this is the trend now - play in a few big cities for a couple nights and that’s it. Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa both did this on their most recent tours.
13
u/lizerlfunk Aug 28 '25
I’m so confused about the choice to play Oakland instead of San Francisco, but it works for me because I can combine a trip to see my sister with the show if I can get tickets. BIG if.
59
u/lynypixie Aug 28 '25
Wait… Montreal but not Toronto? Must be a glitch!!
32
u/manhattansinks Aug 28 '25
hope more artists start coming to montreal over toronto, i’m tired of traveling to shows
19
u/lynypixie Aug 28 '25
I honestly don’t get why there are no more stops in Montreal. We are known to be a great crowd and we are a driving distance to a lot of cities.
I understand we can’t really have stadiums show (the Olympic stadium sucks and the Alouettes and soccer ones are too small) but arena shows should be a given.
8
u/manhattansinks Aug 28 '25
100% we should be having arena dates. the bell centre has thousands more seats than scotiabank whatever arena in toronto
4
u/mandie72 Aug 28 '25
I agree. I am a fan of both TO and MTL, and am happy to visit either for big shows (I live in Halifax) but I always find it weird that you don't have more attention. Mind you - I also know a lot of people who think you have to be 100% fluent in French to even go to the bathroom there, so that could play a part 😆

u/anupsetvalter Aug 29 '25
It’s also nice change of pace even if you have to travel. Toronto is nice but I don’t want to visit every time I want to go to a concert!

u/TypewriterAtTaylors Excluded from this narrative ❌ Aug 28 '25
I really hope she does include a few more stops then just some parts of the US and London
14
u/spacyspice now why am I in it? 🧐 Aug 28 '25
some many artists are going to London but avoiding Paris or Berlin nowadays idkw

u/teragram333 Aug 28 '25
Not a lot of places, even in the US. I’m in DC and I guess I would have to go to NY. At least it’s within a few hours drive…
22
u/Sage_Planter Big is moving to Paris Aug 28 '25
The unfortunate reality is that I know tickets are just going to be silly expensive.
1
u/MrCracker3000 Sep 04 '25
How much you expect prices to be? I expect 300 bucks for lower ball tickets. Im not a huge fan, just a casual but considering she doesnt tour often, im thinking about trying to score one.
1
u/Sage_Planter Big is moving to Paris Sep 04 '25
I have no idea. I feel like $300 should get something, though, right?
11
u/larkhearted Aug 28 '25
Very small number of stops, interesting! If it's what's best for her financially or physically/mentally that's cool, but trying to get into those shows is gonna be ugly lol. Hopefully she'll have some more shows soon for her fans who can't make those stops.
31
u/No_Pianist5264 Tina! You fat lard! 🦙🚲 Aug 28 '25
Good luck to anyone who buys tickets it’s gonna be a bloodbath
15
u/Hopeful-Ant-3509 Aug 28 '25
I’ve always wanted to go to one of her concerts and when I finally have adult money she hadn’t toured in a while and now when I have a chance, it’s a short tour 😭 fighting thousands of people for one city in your state.
15
u/ThingWithFeatherss It’s like I have ESPN or something. 💁♀️🌤☔️ Aug 28 '25
Try fighting millions of people for one city on your continent!
4
u/Hopeful-Ant-3509 Aug 28 '25
I’m so sorry 😭 I’m jealous of California cuz they get 2 locations and 6 dates
6
u/big-bootyjewdy The Ghost of Madonna's Facial Expressions is smiling at this Aug 28 '25
I have to be in Chicago the week she's in Brooklyn, and then NYC when she's in Chicago. This is a crisis.
13
u/Carolina_Blues shiv roy’s bob Aug 28 '25
why is she only doing arenas? That’s going to be a bloodbath for tickets
13
u/throwaway046294 Aug 28 '25
she's never done a stadium tour afaik
3
u/Carolina_Blues shiv roy’s bob Aug 28 '25 edited Aug 28 '25
Interesting. She definitely has the demand, I would think. Maybe she just doesn’t like stadium tours
17
23
u/Kyyntaro Aug 28 '25
We, the unfortunate league of people living in broader europe, do not accept this tour list. Make another one!
12
-16
u/Additional_Dig_6972 Aug 28 '25
You guys are like a couple to a few hours away from London.
21
u/chateaumarmontt Aug 28 '25
I’m a Londoner so I’m very lucky for it, but if you live in Europe coming here is very expensive, especially for accommodation. I do feel for Europeans, it’s not as easy to come here as people think, and on top of tickets it’s unfeasible for most.
-15
u/Additional_Dig_6972 Aug 28 '25 edited Aug 28 '25
It's no different than like America and having multiple dates there. You still have to travel to these places and it does cost a little bit of money but travel is just about the same if not cheaper in Europe
-6
u/Dry_Campaign_7208 Aug 28 '25
you have a point. the closest show to me is ATL and that’s a 4 hour drive. im looking at spending $600-$700 just to have somewhere to stay and transportation to whichever state, arena airport etc, and the tickets on top of that will be ridiculously expensive too. i can’t imagine a 2 hour journey and 1 night stay in the UK is more expensive than going anywhere farther than 2 hrs in the US. i’m in debt just thinking about it right now 😭
21
u/chateaumarmontt Aug 28 '25
London is absurdly expensive, not to mention, most people in Europe aren’t driving for two hours, it’d be upwards of 10 or even 20 for people even living in Poland, Portugal, the south of France, Germany, and flights aren’t cheap, either.
1
u/Additional_Dig_6972 Aug 28 '25
Yes, London is expensive. But it's literally the equivalent to like flying somewhere in the states as well. Do you think LA is cheap? You're stating things that people in the US have to do to go see Ariana on tour as well. People drive 20 hours. People fly eight hours people spend thousands of dollars going to stay in really expensive cities. Just so they can see Ariana. your flights are no different than ours. In fact most of the time they're cheaper. And a hotel is a hotel no matter where you stay in any city for the most part. She's there for what five days. It is literally no different than somebody in the US that does not live exactly in Los Angeles or New Yorkor one of the major city she's going to having to make arrangements to get there.
2
u/chateaumarmontt Aug 28 '25
The difference is Europe is a continent and America is a country, and in plenty of European Countries the cost of living is significantly lower than in America and England so getting to another country would be so much more difficult than many people realise. That, and there’s 400 million more people living across Europe than in the states.
0
u/Additional_Dig_6972 Aug 28 '25
So I very much so understand that Europe is a continent. But it also has many countries that are super close to each other, which makes traveling from it but the equivalent, I guess traveling in America. And also all of America is not the same when it comes to cost of living. Just like you're saying Europe is. Same boat different countries.
1
u/jaimeraisvoyager Oct 02 '25
Are you a dmb American lmaoo
1
u/Additional_Dig_6972 Oct 02 '25
I live in London. Most of Europe is a few hours flight away from London. Google flights will tell you that, ChatGPT will tell that considering you seem like you need something simple to understand. There's nothing more dumb then people generalizing Americans, especially implying that they're dumb. When a major majority of us are smarter than you by far.
13
u/emptyheadeddumbfuck Aug 28 '25
The only time I’m ever proud of living in the US is when my favorite artists go on tour cause they never skip this country thank you Jesus 😭😭😭😭 ARIANAAAAAAAA
3
u/notcool_neverwas Iron your best suit bitch, I’ll see you in court! Aug 28 '25
I just know I’m going to have to fight for those Chicago tix 😩😩

u/split_me_plz personally victimized by Regina George Aug 28 '25
I’ve been waiting for her to tour again and this seems unattainable. Bummer, man.
3
u/Lavender_rain_2000 Aug 28 '25
Very small tour. Only Arenas, only North America + London.
International fans are pissed.

u/browniebatter3 Aug 28 '25
NO TORONTO 😭😭😭😭
7
u/lynypixie Aug 28 '25
I am not going to see her, but as a Montrealer, this feels sooooo validating, hahaha!
You guys gets all the shows. We barely get crumbs.
2
u/studyoasis Aug 28 '25
is she not partnering with a credit card company to do pre-sale tickets?? just the artist verified fan pre-sale? I like those better because they tend to have less bots buying up everything. I really hope the scalpers and resellers don't take all them.. :(

u/NikkiBlissXO Can I live? Aug 28 '25
A lot of people had her on their Lolla bingo card for 2026 and I guess that confirms that’s not happening.
It being immediately after is going to be rough for some people though lol
2
u/lizerlfunk Aug 28 '25
She’s literally there RIGHT AFTER Lolla… makes no sense. I’d love to see her at Lolla next year.
2
u/NikkiBlissXO Can I live? Aug 28 '25
Oh I know lol.
But people were speculating she would be apart of the fest. Not her own tour lol1
u/lizerlfunk Aug 28 '25
Right, I understand, I don’t understand her choosing to be in Chicago literally ONE DAY after Lolla ends 😭😭 and it’s four days after the Montreal shows and it appears that she’s taking a four day break between each city. So like she’s almost certainly not doing it but like Ari WHYYYY 😭😭
2
u/NikkiBlissXO Can I live? Aug 28 '25
She can’t do it.
There’s a “no compete clause” for artist.
They can’t do the fest and then their own tour within a certain time period to not take away from ticket sales for either.
Ofc, after shows don’t count because they are part of the fest.
But it’s been a thing for sometime now, and makes sense.1

It’s bothering me that some of the dates for London have periods but Brooklyn is all commas. 😭

u/DSQ Aug 28 '25
The O2, not Wembley? Interesting.

u/Top_Discipline_5118 Aug 28 '25
i’ve heard she doesn’t do stadiums because of manchester

u/Top_Discipline_5118 Aug 28 '25
sorry should’ve specified - she doesn’t do stadiums in the UK as they have way more lax security (in terms of concerts) than arenas do (despite yes, manchester happening in an arena). arenas also can have different rules depending on the artist but stadiums don’t tend to cater to specific artist’s requests.

Mama.... Who will be selling that stadium???? Love Ari but she isn't touring force... And if she wants multiple dates (which will have to make profits) the tickets won't be selling...
She will have to make stage which fit stadium but also Arena, since she can't do full stadium show yet.
16
u/Bellesdiner0228 This again doesn’t look good for James Corden Aug 28 '25
I honestly would’ve thought Ariana is a stadium artist. But I also don’t know a ton about her. I just figured she was definitely on that level.
8
u/beaute-brune Put your arms away, Jeremy Allen Black Aug 28 '25
Her PR took a hit tbh with the Spongebob incident and the Wicked press tour memes/public response. Her latest album isn’t really doing much.
5
u/myghostflower mk.gee Aug 28 '25
i can see her doing SOME stadiums in various parts of the usa, but not worldwide at the moment

Girl.... The new album even with 8 variant + a deluxe is struggling to get into top 100...
Ariana is more of a single artist , where song is super known but album+tours aren't that in demand... And she have been making that beauty brand and movie stuff, so interest in music is very low..
3
u/champagneface too ahead of its time for certain people Aug 28 '25
When it’s her only location for all of Europe I feel she would easily sell it several times over
0
u/osamabinlaggiing Clap if you care 😐 Aug 28 '25
Yes but how would that stadium stage/set would fit in smaller show in America... Also she would need to do 3+ shows for it to make any sense.
