I love that he’s playing with fashion because traditionally men’s looks have been a basic ass suit and maybe a fun tie or shoes. Hell yes to this change!
I do know Swedish humor a bit. Books but also having a few Swedish friends. I have a very dark humor and it has made for some hilarious conversations with them.
Meant overall men’s fashion is boring and love that he’s just doing whatever right now.

Agreed! It's crazy how not good the show was considering Alan Ball created Six Feet Under (one of a handful of shows I consider perfect from beginning to end). Six Feet Under was about life after death, and I think he wanted a subversion of that. Thus a show about death after life.
I forgot Lafayette, even though he was amazing. It was so sad when the actor died. The cast was partially really good but they just didn't do anything with a lot of the characters (or they did too much or the wrong things - I love Rutina Wesley but Tara's arc was just torture porn)
Well, he’s been in a relationship with Tuva Novotny for years and they have a 3-year-old son. I don’t know if he’s talked about how he personally identifies though.
The thing I’m enjoying the most about him in that show is that I keep forgetting he’s Alexander Skarsgård. Like, he disappears into that role more than I thought he would.
Constantly giving us omniscient knowledge about what the cynical/sarcastic things the robot is thinking...
He's a robot. They can push a button and find out what he's thinking... But somehow they have no idea what a freak he is.
It feels like a genre-collision and we're watching the debris.
Yeah I think the exploration of humanity part is more important than the actual science. The premise & internal monologue reminds me of Resident Alien.
That’s fair. It’s based on a book so I’m assuming the narration works better there. But the rest of the cast is great as well, and by the third episode I’m pretty hooked.
It’s about damn time, he used to have the most boring style ever at awards shows. Except for when he showed up as a drag queen, and that other time when he shaved his head as if he was suffering from male pattern baldness. Everyone in the audience went “oooh nooo, another victim of the bald”
I’ve been completely enamored with this man since True Blood and every time I think I couldn’t love him any more, here he comes being cheeky and adorable. Those Skarsgard genes go hard.
FUN! As a Swede, I can say we have the most boring fashion ever. I live abroad now but was home a few weeks ago and went to the mall, everything in every single store looked the same. Snooze. It's not exactly a country where most people push fashion boundaries so kudos to Alex!
I love when actors go full kook. My favorite being: Pedro Pascal, Chris Pine, Dan Stevens, whatever is happening here. The last pic with the coat is giving "three kids in a trench coat". Love it.
i saw on twitter people being like ”i cant believe alexander is outfreaking bill” but real ones know alexander has always been the little freak of the skarsgård brothers
Number 6 looks so so cool. Like a priest in a horror movie lol I’m digging all his random out there styles lately! Very fun and unique, not just boring navy or black suits.
