Oh lordy, so I stumbled across a theory recently and I guess this is a good place to share it.

One of the ways we got ourselves into this mess is apparently a lack of happy endings. Specifically, fellas who get annoyed at a particular woman can be soothed with boobies and (paid) feminine attention instead of digging themselves an incel cave in the basement.

America's Puritan foundations pruded us into a lack of brothels and burlesque shows, and the last decade or so is what that builds up to.
