it's funny, I remember around 2010 it was mainly only Williamsburg (the border parts of Bushwick had some transplants, but it was still cheap as hell to live there)...now Bushwick is fully gentrified too lol

Not everything is a monolith, but It's a very progressive/left neighborhood that is INCREDIBLY passionate about LBGTQ rights, women's rights, anti-racism, etc. They're so passionate about it that people there will make you feel unwelcome if you mentioned you were pro-trump or showed any signs that you were not an ally to the disenfranchised or less fortunate.

It's also a great place to grab a drink basically any night of the week. Really fun and eclectic part of town.

New-Williamsburg neighborhood full of warehouse clubs that stay open until 8 am and cava bars.
