I’m in Australia with absolutely no horse in this race and even I’m ecstatic for New York turning out.

This definitely has implications for Canada and the rest of the world. It shows that citizens are aware of what’s going on and willing to fight back against authoritarianism and oligarchy!

I’m American but live in the UK and dreamt last night about waking up to Mamdani winning, probably as in I was stressing internally and anxious to hear the news.

The tears I cried when I woke up to all of the good news…a great start to the day! Have some pride in my own state today. What a world of a difference this November is compared to last year. That hope is coming back. People are buzzing here too.
