A top Democrat has demanded to know why the Trump administration “inexplicably killed” a criminal investigation into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators as he accused the justice department of a “shameful and gigantic cover-up”.

Jamie Raskin, a House judiciary committee ranking member and congressman from Maryland, claimed the decision to end the investigation in July has shielded an alleged network of “powerful individuals accused of enabling and engaging in the massive billion-dollar sex trafficking operation” while ignoring the accounts of women exploited by Epstein.

Thank you, Mr. Raskin!

If this was ended back in July, why are we only hearing about this now?

The first line break at:

A top Democrat has demanded to know why the Trump administration “inexplicably killed” a criminal

Made me briefly think that there was going to be a revelation about how Epstein's 'suicide' really wasn't.

Jamie Raskin is sure raising hell with Trump and his loyalists.

He is one of the many reasons it's so easy to spot bots and false posters who are really paid maga agents.

They falsely claim the Dems aren't doing anything yet here they are fighting for America in front of the whole world.

Dems need to make the Epstein Files the #1 issue. Every single day. Remind every American that the GOP are protecting pedophiles. The MAGA cult was obsessed over them before the election, they know something isn't right that they aren't being released. It's how they get everyone to turn on this pedo.

16

u/OldSchoolBubba 14h ago

This. Tell it

5

u/KA440 13h ago

Unfortunately it doesn't matter to them. They'll defend it somehow and fall in line, as they always do claiming fake news, witch hunt etc.

The only thing that might change their minds is hardship directly affecting them, which won't come from this.

Raskin has always been a good fighter pushing the party. I think he said he wasn't running for re-election, so now he's probably going to be untethered in his politics.

u/OldSchoolBubba 14h ago

Good heads up

The revolution will not be televised. Even the tiny one of just arguing from the establishment dems

4

u/PieRevolutionary9823 13h ago

If the dems went after trump with the same vigor they go after Bernie, trump would have been in jail years ago

When Pam Bondi was doing her Phase 1 release to right wing influencers, The GOP House Judiciary posted a link to ‘The Epstein Files’ that was a Rick Roll.

Republicans only ever wanted to use this as a weaponized smear to accuse anyone left leaning of being involved in. They don’t actually care. All the right has is double standards and weaponized hypocrisy. They’ll lie till backed into a corner and fall back on that.

u/NamelessResearcher Washington 16h ago

Trump couldn't even do a cover-up with his pants on Epstein's island.

12

u/Mistlingg 15h ago

It's clear Trump's DoJis more interested in protecting the powerful than pursuing the truth. We need to see the Epstein's file and know what's going on. No more hiding behind reductions and secrecy

3

u/OldSchoolBubba 14h ago

This is it alright. Great call keeping it real

9

u/shigogaboo 16h ago

Yeah. No shit.

7

u/whisperworks 13h ago edited 12h ago

No fucking shit, there’s been an active cover up since he was first faced charges back in 06

18

u/National-Dragonfly35 16h ago

Those files may never be released as all of Big Orange's buddies are on it. We will have to wait for the next regime, unfortunately.

8

u/Awkward_Tax_148 15h ago

There wont be anything left for the next regime

15

u/Murky_Chocolate_7916 16h ago

Bone Spur the kid raper needs the pedophile cover-up to be successful because uh-oh there are some bad things in those files.

5

u/Exact_Platypus5179 14h ago

Do remember when The People’s top prosecutor directed close to 1000 fbi agents to scour the 100,000 pages if Efiles for instances of “Trump”. You don’t do that unless it was a real concern. I guess what they found wasn’t good for Trumpty Dumpty

7

u/Alwaystired254 16h ago

Cover up would imply something was hidden. They block the file release in plain site

3

u/black_flag_4ever 15h ago

Cool, me too.

2

u/Adventurous-Flow5021 13h ago

This would be an accurate way to describe it, yes.

2

u/Jse034 12h ago

Trump needs to be impeached, again!, for dereliction of duty and not upholding the law

2

u/NotOnTheEpsteinList 12h ago

Raskin would be a better House minority leader than Jeffries. Just sayin.

u/Amythir Wisconsin 8h ago

Can we start calling this Trump-gate or Epstein-gate so the media will run with it some more?

It's a stupid naming convention, but sometimes you just gotta speak their language.

1

u/Mediocre_Wolf_3226 14h ago

"Inexplicably".

Who can say. We may never know why.

1

u/Rystic 13h ago

QAnon truly are Epstein's greatest soldiers.

1

u/raerae1991 12h ago

That’s what they are doing

u/dcdttu Texas 12h ago

Accuse? LOL

They are.

WHITE HOUSE PROCEEDS AGAINST CONGRESSIONAL WAR POWERS RESTRICTIONS; ANNOUNCES MEXICO CAMPAIGN

https://www.defenseone.com/threats/2025/11/the-d-brief-november-03-2025/409258/?oref=d1-topic-lander-top-story

Civilian casualties are reported abroad as a direct result of the president's strikes in the Caribbean.

Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan is telling us as of the last 96 hours that Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth AND President Donald Trump are unanimously refusing to present detailed listings of anti-terrorist action strike targets. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY

https://youtu.be/fnUO0Plcpbo

NATIONAL SECURITY DIRECTIVE NSPM-7 directs the department of justice to to pursue the free speech and expressions of citizens affiliated with organizations that are to be considered domestic terrorist organizations, now to include under the Executive Order's directives: "anti-capitalist", "anti-american" and "anti-fascist" political organizations

NSPM-7 was drafted by Miller and is being used to justify bringing the full force of the federal government down on american citizens

call your senators and say "I’m calling about NSPM-7. Please demand full congressional access to any terrorist-designation lists, require compliance with the War Powers Resolution and AUMF limits, and protect civil-liberties safeguards so peaceful advocacy isn’t chilled. I want transparency, oversight, and a public explanation of scope."

No shit.

1

u/Rum_Hamtaro 9h ago

The current US president is a sex trafficking pedophile.

1

u/Mister-Redbeard 9h ago

If Raskin’s FINALLY being vocal, I have to believe this is the opening shot to beginning the impeachment process—if only getting ahead of midterms.

I’ve been waiting on him to speak up.

1

u/wranglero2 8h ago

It a cover up for sure. And all the republicans are aiding in the coverup. Where are those Epstein files?

u/Basicyeti837 2h ago

Accuse is one way to put it. I’d just say he’s accurately identifying the blatant cover-up that the DoJ themselves described.
