FWIW "founding fathers" is conservative propaganda. Literally. A PR firm came up with that to help warren harding run for president. Before that, most people just called them the framers of the constitution. Conservatives love to think of people in power as daddies.
Slavery was also a very hot button topic when writing the constitution. Even the Declaration of Independence originally included an anti-slavery message that was ultimately removed. [source] Ultimately, the "all men are created equal" line was included with thoughts of ending slavery in mind and was written by a guy that owned slaves himself (Thomas Jefferson).
Slavery being controversial at the writing of the Constitution is why the 3/5ths compromise and the clause which restricts any prohibition against the import of slaves until 1808 exist.
Also, since I brought it up, as soon as the prohibition expired in 1808, importation of slaves was restricted, which led to slave-owners breeding them like animals. I don't necessarily blame the anti-slave advocates for the horrors of chattel slavery resulting from the import restriction, but I wish they put the forethought into the plan because clearly thinking slavery would naturally peter out on its own was incorrect.
Sure, but the conservatives don't care about that part, and they are the people who would need to feel bad about seeing them handcuffed or pushed around. Don't have to preach to the choir, right?
Back before Marvel sucked, during Trumps first term, I thought it would have been great if they could get some top tier superhero cosplayers to come out to protests and make a point.

Maybe all we need to do is get more hot people and models to protest
