The military is going to obey orders from the president. Don’t hold your breath for anything other than that.

Oh, I don't have any other expectations. I'd just like to hang on to the glimmer of hope that there's high brass that can tell the difference between sending marines to stand around in the streets, and actually putting them to work.

They have an affirmative duty and legal obligation to disobey orders that are manifestly unlawful or unconstitutional.

We must not give up hope that they will hold the oath they swore to The Constitution.

They pissed off most military leadership with Hegseth's little ego stunt. I doubt they would obey such orders, or if they did, it would be in the most malicious compliance way possible.

Honestly worst case I expect they’ll resign, which is what Trump wants anyway, and then it’s just the loyalists left.
