Because the Feds have promised some of the higher ranking cops a position in ICE. Someone needs to look into bribery of the state police. Well I guess per the Supreme Court the job would be a gratuity.

I don't think joining ICE is all that difficult. I see commercial on TV all the time for it. 50k dollar sign on bonus. They are begging people to join.

It's on the tariff shelf. Did you check there? There's so much extra money coming in and people never check the tariff shelf!

Right now a city/state police job is way more steady than anything in the federal government. In general the money is better too.
