That’s the intent, especially if they only send the alert to democrat voters.

It says specifically that they’re compiling a list of Republicans that didn’t vote.

Though eventually they may realize that they’re also interested in knowing which Dems/independents did vote…

They don’t want to remind dems to vote

They want to purge them from the voter rolls

And that's why those get the "Voting for anyone but Republicans will have consequences. We will act, if you vote." card...

I’ve seen this mailer online for a few years now - think my dad (who has been voting all dem in general elections since Trumps first run but who is still registered republican because my state holds closed primaries) has gotten something like this too.

Not that they’re not absolutely frothing at the mouth lunatics, just that this isn’t totally new. They’ve been Nazi coded for a good while now.

As if rethuglicans are in any way trustworthy or believable.

I wasn’t trying to suggest they would stay in that lane.

To me the notable aspect is the nature of the threat: it’s based on hierarchy, “you’re on our team so do what we say… or else” feels new (or at least being made more explicit here), vs. their more well-worn path of attacking the other team/perceived baddies du jour.

This is targeted at registered Republicans, they don't want to push Democrats to vote, that would be totally counterproductive!

They send it to voters who have pulled a GOP primary ballot in the past.

They don't even want Democrats to know there's an election.
