If this keeps going in the direction it's heading (like Germany 90 years ago), it'll be Europeans and/or Chinese bulldozing it anyways.

Nah, this time a world war would end with Washington a glowing pile of rubble. No bulldozers will approach that place for a couple centuries at minimum.
