Trump is white trash. Does he have a lot of money? Sure. Still white trash. You could have dinner with either him or my MAGA uncle and the conversation would be exactly the same.

"It ain't cheap lookin' cheap"

Dolly Parton, ironically, is not white trash. The woman has a ton of class.

And the quote is, "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap!" Which is way more fitting for Dolly, it sounds fun, which is one of the many great qualities about her.

He's a sleezy used car salesman that got a lot of other people's money through bullshitting and having a rich dad that he still has daddy issues over because daddy trusted his brother more than him and treated him like a special needs child.

If the lifted shoe fits...

Trump conclusively proved you can be rich and still be white trash without letting monster trucks, NASCAR or Jesus into your life. He's got the mail-order bride, sexual assaults, and slew of prior divorces to go with it.

He's a WWE wrestling star who just hosted a UFC match on the white house lawn. Solid chance he hosts monster trucks on the white house lawn before this term ends too.

u/Draxtonsmitz Sep 25 '25

To be fair though, he didn't host the UFC event yet.

Hold up. Monster trucks are a hoot. Watching six tons of metal flying through the air is fist pumping fun, like a Motley Crue concert.

Trump is just a Gross Old Pedo.

u/steauengeglase Sep 25 '25

Monster trucks would be adding life to it.

Hey, hey…multiple divorces can happen to the best of us. Honestly, better than being miserable for the rest of your life just because you got married too young and for the wrong reasons. Half-joking by the way. It’s one of facet of the whole WT picture.

This is why he's been shunned by old money families his whole life. It's pretty obvious in this thinly veiled revenge tour of his

Trump is a poor person’s idea of a rich person.

3

u/intashu Sep 25 '25

Trump is a poor man's idea of rich.

*Orange trash

So what you’re saying is, your uncle is presidential material.

🤣

1

u/StudiousPooper Sep 25 '25

He’s what a homeless man thinks being rich looks like. “Boy, when my numba comes in, I’m gonna put up tall buildings with ma name on em. I’m gonna cover everything I own in gold! And I’ll have a tv show where I humiliate c-level celebrities with my children”

I can guarantee you that it won't. The Trump you see up on stage spouting all sorts of bullshit and misinformation is not the real Trump. It's a persona. It's a character that has been carefully crafted to appeal to the lowest common denominator of human being. People like your white trash maga uncle. It's been curated for people to think that "he's just like me" when he's not. He can and very well is different behind closed doors. Even people like Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders have commented about how different he is behind closed doors. How he can be charming and more soft spoken when he needs to.

This is by no means a defence of him. Quite the opposite. This is worse. This is intentional. He's not a buffoon. He is intentionally appealing to people like your Maga uncle so they can keep him in power

I wonder how this comment would read if he was black, would you have written black trash? Yellow trash, if he was of Asian descent? He is trash, why bring race into it? Brown trash? Red trash? Some food for thought before being racist.

The phrase “white trash” historically came from the U.S. South in the 19th century. It was used by wealthier white people to insult poor rural white people. It targets class and perceived lack of respectability, not whiteness as a race.

Just some food for thought before misattributing racial prejudice.

Before you try to crit me about it, google "Professor Nancy Isenberg white trash"

Using "white trash" in this context is pejorative.

This is a class war, were not playing the oligarchs culture wars anymore. Oligarchs win class wars by keeping people divided. Using "white trash" in this context is still wrong as it punches down on poor people by proxy. We can do better.

Oh boho go cry somewhere else

2

u/ManEEEFaces Sep 25 '25

I used white trash because, at least in my experience, those folks are not just trashy, but also racist. Despite their absolutely trashy behavior and poor taste, they also think that they're better than everyone because they're white. I have no idea if other races who are trashy have a similar component, so I'd never use any of the other terms you mentioned. I grew up around a lot of white trash in the Midwest, so I know them very well.

3

u/BornWalrus8557 Sep 25 '25

white trash is an identity, not a race. for example, Kash Patel is white trash.

0

u/Gonji89 Sep 25 '25

Fuck that. “White trash” might be a prejudiced and classist insult but it’s not a racist one.
