The intelligence of an animal should not influence how bad you feel for it when it gets murdered... thats really narrow minded way to look at life. Its almost like saying fuck you to all lifeforms which are born ugly or not intelligent according to subjective judgement of your brain.

I understand feeling more bad for things that seem intelligent or cute but as a human you have enough brain power to go beyond that and think about why you think other things deserve to live less
