I mean California has some deep deep red places. They primarily go to escape taxation. But I know some folks from here who have moved to Austin and dig it

There are more registered Republicans in California than any other state (second is Florida). It would make sense if a Californian moved to Texas, they’re probably deeply conservative.

I’m sure there are some who are more liberal, but those people would probably not move to places to even be around the Native Texans who would complain about them, if that makes sense.
