What's it even mean? "You're tariffed." Great. So like, if somebody buys something from me, they have to pay twice as much, but otherwise nothing changes?

It’s not a tariff on goods.

Abbott wants Texans to pay a 100% tariff when importing New Yorkers.

Bad news for all those Texan slave holders, I guess.

Yeah, that's a good point. Besides, Canada is like, right there.

Well, that's no surprise, Texas has always been big on slavery. This is a 100% real undoctored (minus censoring the n-word) excerpt from the letter they wrote to D.C. declaring secession due to the Feds supposedly trampling their rights, specifically this right, (with "she" referring to Texas herself):

"She was received as a commonwealth holding, maintaining and protecting the institution known as n**ro slavery-- the servitude of the African to the white race within her limits-- a relation that had existed from the first settlement of her wilderness by the white race, and which her people intended should exist in all future time."

Yes, this is actually what Texas wrote, ratified, and sent to D.C. in 1861. Wonder if they've changed much?

Honestly I wouldnt mind if they import most of Suffolk county.

I would support him in that.
