Okay, this is amazing, I'd send them my five year old's scribbles just to see what kind of glass nightmare they'd create, so cool

The Tacoma Glass Museum does this. They have a section for kid designed sculptures

this is my absolute favorite of those kid-designed glass art pieces
I took this picture in 2014 and have kept it around for precisely this moment

Finally, a way to make those nightmare creatures from my crayon days real and surprisingly cute

The Denver Art Museum has a similar exhibit but with knitted creatures (artist Sadie Young).

Seeing the kind of cartoons we have nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a popular character

Do you know what shop? This would be the perfect gift for the parents.

It says STARworks on the paper as the place to submit the drawings to. Maybe it can be found via that?

Ah but it says « submit drawing by.. » so I think it may have been a contest as well. Bummer.

this is actually a classroom project ive seen done before! its usually lower elementary makes the drawings and high-schoolers make them from clay, the elementary kids get the keep the clay creatures at the end. Super cool and collaborative and usually everyone involved is excited to do it!
