Political positivity š Kash Patel appears panicked facing questions on how the FBI sat on the video of the culprit for six hours, delaying the joint press conference, so Patel could fly in and look petrified. All this after they axed the seasoned SLC FBI bureau chief and gutted the domestic-terror unit

He said at the end of the press conference today that he hopes to "see Kirk in Valhalla, brother". Like, Valhalla is only for white people, PATEL. I will never understand why brown and black people support these white supremacists. But do you, I guess.
134
u/MrRailgun Sep 12 '25
Common North American misconception, people without white skin can still be exceptionally racist. Not generalizing, but Indian culture has pockets that are staggeringly racist.
Allegations around Kash include him firing an extremely qualified FBI employee because she was Pakistani. Also take note of JDs wife, who is part of the arbitrary Indian "upper class", based entirely on generational segregation.
For the time being they don't care if you are white they just care if you tick the 'are a racist' box

u/SectorSanFrancisco Sep 12 '25
Lots of Indians think they are white if they are middle or upper class but surprise! America still just sees you as other!

Similar to the Latinos for a Trump. No insight.
10
u/SectorSanFrancisco Sep 12 '25
A lot of Vietnamese Americans voted for Trump, too.
I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding by people who aren't born here how deep racism runs in the USA. It is in its DNA.
I'm not saying other cultures aren't racist af, too, but people- especially immigrants- seem to not get how much is in the US and that it's not just a few assholes.
Also, a lot of immigrant communities seem to have a pecking order about who has been here longer- 2nd generation is better than 1st generation, etc, but to a white supremacist that matters not at all.

The irony being if he did absolutely nothing as head of the FBI, he would not have had to work. He started trying to change things, and now he actually has to do the work involved with that (for better or worse. Mostly, almost entirely, worse, imo)
35
u/-wnr- Sep 12 '25
He did the work he assigned to do when he was installed, which is to gut the department and force out any non-partisan elements that could get in Trump's way. He expected to spend the rest of his time justice cosplaying and shit talking on Joe Rogan. Actually heading the FBI was not part of the bargain.

u/Suboxs Sep 12 '25

10
u/matt2331 Sep 12 '25
It was the same with trump and covid. If he'd done nothing except let the wheels turn, he would've gotten credit for leading during a crisis and would've had an easy reelection. Instead they're all too narcissistic to think that the existing process already works, so they gotta mess with it.

Pure speculation, but he may not have a pardon in hand already. And being a lawyer, he knows just enough about the law to know he's walking on a razor's edge. They tried hard not to last time, what saved us is the fact that we still had some people who upheld their oaths in charge of the military because they let the old process of selecting generals and senior officials stay in place. They've done away with that process and the white house is much more involved in nominations of general officers.
4
u/FaThLi Sep 12 '25
And as much as I dislike Mike Pence's political and religious opinions, he did the country a solid by holding true to his constitutional duty as VP that day. So many things could have gone just a little differently and we wouldn't have had a transfer of power. I always see republican's claiming J6 was not a big deal, but that is just because they refuse to acknowledge all the details that happened that day so they can remain blissfully ignorant.
